Frequently Asked Questions

  • How much does Medicare pay?

Original Medicare pays 80%. If you have Medicare and a supplemental plan, you may be eligible for 100% coverage. There are also Medicare Advantage plans operated through private insurance companies. Coverage amounts for these plans can vary greatly. Our insurance eligibility check will determine your coverage amount. Annual deductible and/or co-pay amounts may affect your coverage amount.

  • Do I need a prescription from my doctor?

Yes. Any insurance coverage would require a prescription from your doctor. We will provide to your doctor the information your particular insurance may require for coverage, so we do not suggest obtaining a prescription prior to completing the inquiry form as the prescription needs can vary.

  • Does this have to be prescribed by a specialist?

No. Any doctor you have that is licensed to write prescriptions can prescribe the ReBuilder. This should be a doctor that knows your condition and would have information in your chart that verifies that you have had your symptoms for sometime.

  • What if the treatment does not help?

Original Medicare requires that once the treatment is prescribed and dispensed to you and that you use the treatment for at least 30 days. Somewhere between 30 and 60 days you will need to be re-evaluated by your prescribing physician. If the treatment is proving to be helpful to you, then your doctor can complete a certificate of medical necessity form (CMN) and send to us. Upon receipt of the correctly completed CMN we bill Medicare for the treatment and it is yours to keep. If the treatment is not helping you or you do not keep this appointment, the ReBuilder is returned to us and Medicare is only billed a nominal rental fee for this trial period. This rental fee varies from state to state, but is approximately $40.00. Medicare will pay 80% of that as well. Your insurance many not require a trial period before they are billed, meaning they agree to pay for the prescribed treatment in the same way they pay for other services when ordered. In this case the treatment would be billed to your insurance once we dispense it to you. Completing the inquiry form will allow us to determine your insurance plan coverage requirements.
